Cupro Nickel 90/10 (UNS C70600) is a widely used copper–nickel alloy composed of approximately 90% copper and 10% nickel, with small additions of iron and manganese for improved corrosion resistance. This grade is well known for its excellent resistance to seawater corrosion, good thermal conductivity, and superior resistance to biofouling. Cupro Nickel 90/10 offers excellent formability, weldability, and ease of fabrication, making it ideal for complex piping and heat transfer applications. It performs reliably across a wide temperature range and exhibits good resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Typical applications include seawater and cooling water systems, heat exchangers, condensers, shipbuilding, offshore structures, desalination plants, and marine engineering equipment where durability, efficiency, and long-term performance are critical.
